JW Marriott Hotel Macau

My stay at the JW Marriott Hotel Macau was a delightful blend of luxury, family-friendly touches, and fun at the adjoining Galaxy Macau resort. The highlight wasn’t just the hotel itself, but the incredible water park right downstairs, which made the trip feel like a true holiday escape.

Arrival & Check-In

• I first took a BUS to Galaxy Macau, then walked into the JW Marriott lobby.
• The lobby was grand and elegant, setting the tone for the stay.
• Check-in was smooth—we received our room cards quickly and headed up by elevator.

The Room

• Type: Luxury twin room with pool view.
• Beds: A large bed for adults and, surprisingly, a crib prepared for my child. It was her first time sleeping separately from us, which felt both magical and memorable.
• Bathroom: Modern design with a glass wall that could switch between opaque and transparent. It had a bathtub, shower, and proper dry/wet separation. The only drawback was a single washbasin, which felt slightly less convenient.
• View: From the window, I could see the Galaxy Macau water park (Grand Resort Deck). Sitting by the sofa and tea table, I felt a sense of peace while gazing out at the scenery.

The Water Park Experience

The real highlight of the trip was the Grand Resort Deck, one of Asia’s largest water parks.

• Day 1: I played in the wave pool and the artificial beach. Hearing music while riding the waves was pure joy, and the sunset over the beach was breathtaking.
• Day 2: I tried the lazy river and the massage pool. Floating along the river was relaxing, and the massage pool’s warm water was perfect after the chilly weather.
• There was even a transparent glass-bottom section, a fun photo spot while drifting along.

• The hotel staff were attentive and patient, always ready to help.

• The only challenge was the cold weather, which made outdoor activities less comfortable at times.

This stay at JW Marriott Macau was more than just a hotel experience—it was a family adventure. Watching my child sleep in her own crib for the first time, playing in the wave pool at sunset, and relaxing in the warm massage pool all created lasting memories. The combination of JW Marriott’s luxury and Galaxy Macau’s entertainment made it a perfect getaway.
